The Problem

Organic waste represents the single largest component of municipal trash, yet it remains completely unmeasured at the point of disposal. Without source-level verification, cities and corporate buildings cannot enforce mandates, audit tenant behavior, or accurately account for carbon impact.

Organic materials (food, paper, wood, yard trimmings) make up over half of what we send to landfills. Of that, 24% is food waste - the single largest category - producing methane, a greenhouse gas significantly more potent than carbon dioxide.
